This is a common complaint. The most common cause of fatigue is dehydration. Even mild dehydration can slow the metabolism, thinking, and cause focus problems. Coffee, Tea, Diet Coke, artificial sweeteners, surgery soda and alcohol can cause dehydration. Our body is 60-80% H2O. Our muscles are 75% H2O. The above diuretics can cause a chronic state of dehydration. This will cause fatigue. It is said that 75% of people go day to day dehydrated; drinking H2O can help ease back and joint pain. There is some evidence that it can decrease the risk of colon, breast and bladder cancer.
