Health insurance is confusing but it doesn’t have to be. Physicians for Prevention (PFP) personally guides their patients through the uncertainty. To better understand how PFP works with your health insurance, here are a few things you need to know:
PFP membership does not take the place of health insurance.
The concierge membership fee is usually not covered by insurance.
PFP is focused on prevention and early detection- the things insurance doesn’t cover also known as non covered services.
Most health insurance, including Medicare, is accepted by John Przybylski MD PC.
Members can still use their outside specialists Lahey or otherwise affiliated
We have maintained our clinical consulting and IPA membership affiliation with Lahey.
Office visits and clinical care that is deemed a covered service is charged to the member’s health insurance by John Przybylski MD PC. Co-payments, insurance deductibles, non-covered clinical services and other clinical charges determined as the member’s responsibility by the health insurer are also billed to the member.
